Vintage Valentines

On February 7^th, we attended a program that was held at the Atkinson Public Library.  Nancy Klammer from around Johnstown, NE brought her Valentines.  The first Valentine began in 269AD.  She has been collecting them for many years.  Some she has bought at stores or even garage sales. Some of them have been given to her as gifts.  It was neat to see how detailed her Valentines were.  She encouraged the students to start their own collection of something now.
