Flat Stanley visits Billings, MT

Flat Stanley enjoyed visiting the kindergarten class at Broadwater Elementary in Billings Montana.  While in Montana he was able to visit the beach at Lake Elmo which is a state park.  Stanley was also able to see the Yellowstone River while visiting in Montana.  We also learned that Billings is known for its “Rimrock” which are sandstone cliffs on the north side of Billings.  We have a picture of Stanley being a little daring as he is standing on one of the cliffs.  We thought this was a little dangerous and glad he didn’t fall off!

Stanley was able to learn about what the kindergarteners do at Broadwater Elementary.  Some of the things he learned from the students was using the iPad, the alphabet, patterning blocks, the Race to Trace game, and he also enjoyed reading with the students.  He also was able to experience his first snow fall while in Billings.
Stanley came back with a really neat book that is the ABC’s of Montana that the class enjoyed reading.  He also came back with lots of neat pictures.  Be sure to stop at school to take a look them.  Flat Stanley sends out a big thank you to Mrs. Elenbaas' Kindergarten Class at Broadwater Elementary in Billings, MT for letting him visit and all the neat experiences he had.
The smile says it all, he was excited to receive Flat Stanley from Montana!
