Pumpkin Pie

To help us celebrate Thanksgiving as a school my class helped making the pies.  A few weeks ago we learned about reading a recipe and measuring cups and measuring spoons in math.  It worked great to be able to use the pumpkin pie recipe to read and measure the ingredients.  The kids were divided into pairs and they each had three pies to mix together.  They all did an excellent job of helping each other and reading the recipe because the pie tasted great!  Thanks to the volunteers who helped bake the pies.
