The students learned how to measure liquids in math. They learned about different measuring cups
and spoons. This was helpful because
then about a week later the students were able to use the measuring cups and spoons
to make pumpkin pies for the schools Thanksgiving meal.
The 2nd graders learned about lines in
symmetry. A line of symmetry is when you
divide something in half and have the same amount on both sides of the
line. They were able to do practice this
by using putting paint on paper and then creasing the paper and after opening it they
saw a line of symmetry.
