Flat Stanley visits Kentucky

On Flat Stanley’s trip to Kentucky he was able to see the Paducah Flood Walls.  The murals on these walls capture moments in Paducah’s Kentucky history.  These walls are three city blocks long!  Also in Paducah Stanley was able to visit the National Quilt Museum.  There are over 320 different quilts in this museum.
Stanley was also able to tour Murray State University located in Murray, KY. One of his favorite things he saw at the University was the Shoe Tree.  This tree is full of shoes of couples who met during their time spent at Murray State University and went on to be married.

Stanley was able to take in some sporting events while in Kentucky and came back supporting the Kentucky Wildcats as he was able to experience a UK Wildcat basketball game.
Flat Stanley was able to enjoy Thanksgiving in Kentucky but was able to keep his amazing figure!  We are glad to have Stanley back from Kentucky with us and were able to learn about Kentucky.
Opening the letter we received from Kentucky.
Excited to see all the neat things inside.
